As I have mentioned HEREIN, well meaning and rather good prophecy teachers of the past, have used one verse in Daniel 9, to mis-interpret prophecy timing and made them very vulnerable and out of tune, time wise.
For most of them, are delaying their actions and preparations to the END and the RAPTURE, because they think the LAST SEVEN YEARS as spoken about by Daniel has not started yet. They await the Signing of the Covenant of Daniel. Its what I was taught and which many others were taught, and it seemed reasonable even though it wasn't confirmed much in prophetic scriptures.
Daniel 9: 27 was the key verse that was always stated as the Start,
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Hence I, like others, was probably wrong about this IMO. SEE Daniel 9
Yes, One week is seven years, and there will be a Covenant signed by ten countries for the over spreading of abominations, but I don't now think it is the first sign of the LAST SEVEN YEARS. ( This even though a meeting of ten finance ministers did get together in Jerusalem on September, 2021. ) Yet surely the first sign is the FIRST SEAL, and these seals must all be opened chronologically, and some (1,2,3,4) before the Signing.
If making a timeline, it has to have all the events down in order, and follow that order to be true, and of the Lord. Consequently the SEALS have to be part of the timeline sequence. Besides the description of the Seals, shows they are the 'Beginning of Sorrows'. ( Mathew 24 : 8 ). We can't omit the Seals !
But we were taught that the Signing was merely a P. R. moment to stop the Temple Mount Riots and world wide repercussions, then there would be a false time of 'Peace and Safety'. How nice an interpretation to believe, except it is not true. Its false. IMO. I mean how could this be so, as we are in absolute turmoil right now in 2022, and will be for the next years ahead. This is not the time of 'Peace and Safety'. Things events and destructions and depopulations get worse and worse and worse. Its not going to better after the Mid East Peace Covenant solves the Mid East problem, and even the Ukrainian problem. That is just untrue and a false hope, which tends to make believers think they have 3.5 years in which to get their acts together in 'Peace and Safety', before the persecution starts in the 5th Seal. Some people, some dedicated Christians are waiting for the Ten Nation signing before they get serious, and really forsake all and go into all the world... Or get prepared to go to the Wilderness of Petra.
The 5th Seal is the persecution of those Christians and others that get imprisoned and killed (for not taking the jab, not taking the Mark, and not obeying their NWO government officials. This happens before the 144,000 get sealed, and before the 7th Seal which starts the Great Tribulation. Did you follow that ?
Sorry I for one am not buying this old interpretation anymore, especially as it seems to be backed up by these previous teachers by only a few verses that are not even prophetically talking about the time between the signing and the START OF GREAT TRIBULATION. Their main verse of confirmation is
1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they shall say, 'Peace and Safety'; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But this verse is talking about the Rapture, not the Great Tribulation, and it is not direct prophecy, meaning THUS SAITH THE LORD prophecy.
So what this all means is that our past interpretation, was mis-interpretated so that if we believe it, we will not be seriously engaged in counting the days til the end. And we won't be prepared for the wars, and will negate the pestilences, and will deny the progression to the MARK economic system, and will now know when the Nuclear War between the Whore and the victorious Beast is. WE will be behind times and signs. Because we will have missed the signs, and won't know the Lord's timeline or events, or what is coming.
I say we have to combine all events, all the seals, trumpets, vials into a comprehensive logical chronological timeline to understand the whole picture of prophecy. This rather than naively selecting one event, at a time from all events and thinking that is predominant.
